Tuesday afternoon, a truck hauling logs overturned south of Bennettsville. The truck was making a turn from Highway 15-401 onto Willamette Road (SC Highway 912), apparently headed to the Domtar paper mill when the driver lost control, flipping the truck and its log onto its side. The driver was transported to an area hospital but, according to EMS members on site, was not seriously injured.
